Yes! Because of its amusement-park-like construction, Chankanaab is one of Cozumel's most wheelchair-accessible destinations, and it even has beach wheelchairs you can use to get to the water. Keep in mind that these are first come first serve, so you may want to contact the park to ensure availability.

Is this a good destination for cruise travelers?

Chankanaab is an excellent destination for cruise-traveler, as the cruise terminal is less than 10 minutes away and can be seen from the park. Getting a taxi from one destination to the other is very easy, so as long as you make sure to plan ahead, you shouldn't have any trouble getting back to your cruise in time.

What available activities aren't included in the price of this tour?

What do I need to bring?

This is a beach amusement park, so make sure to bring comfortable clothes and shoes, preferably water shoes, as well as towels, swimsuit,and a change of clothes. Because Chankanaab sits in the middle of a nature park, conservation efforts include wearing biodegradable sunscreen or, better yet, no sunscreen at all so consider bringing water clothes or a t-shirt to swim with. *Note: Entrance to the park doesn't include a $5 per person reef conservation program fee, so make sure to bring $5 in cash for every person you're traveling with.*

Chankanaab is open from 9 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday, so you can stay for as long as you wish within this time

Transportation to Chankanaab is simple with a taxi, about 10 minutes from the cruise piers.

The park is open from 9AM to 4:30PM and you are welcome to stay for the duration.

Your tour costs are refundable if canceled 24 hours before the tour departure. If booking using the Book Now, Pay Later option, the 5% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
